Our Team

Austin Sault - Owner & Coach

Austin started 3 Flames CrossFit (formerly Saulty Fitness) in 2015 while he was home from University during the summer. Sport has always been an integral part of Austin’s life, whether it was football, hockey, soccer or basically anything else that allowed him to compete. While playing, Austin came to the realization that he enjoyed the process of training for a season, just as much, if not more than playing. Once his athletic playing days were finished, he changed his direction towards coaching so that he could help others reach their fitness goals. His ultimate goal is to change the culture of health and fitness in his First Nations community.

Tammy Sault - Coach

Aanii Tammy Sault ndishnikaaz. Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation is where I was raised. I got into CrossFit back in 2014. Coach Austin convinced me to join him for a class at Queen St CF. And I haven’t looked back! I was instantly hooked.

I love watching people crush their goals and accomplish things that they never though possible. My favorite athletes are the ones that come in and trust the process, that build up the community and that give their all every workout. Coaching has made me a better athlete!

Lizzie Bradley-Coach

My hometown is Six Nations of the Grand River. I went to high school at McKinnon Park and completed Kinesiology and my nursing degree at Western University. Currently I am a student in nurse practitioner school at Athabasca University. Growing up I played many sports including gymnastics, volleyball and lacrosse. I coach Crossfit because I enjoy promoting health and wellness amongst our community. Many of the conditions I see in my role as a nurse can be prevented through a healthy lifestyle. It is amazing see the progress people make physically and mentally when they join our gym.

Certifications: L1 Crossfit.

Melissa Carson - Coach

I grew up trying every sport but ultimately never sticking with anything until I started martial arts. But after 9 years and a few concussions I transitioned to a commercial gym and resistance training.

Eventually I noticed a lack of results for the time I was putting in and on a whim tried CrossFit, I was instantly hooked. For the past decade I've trained and coached CrossFit, and continued my education journey which includes: Agatsu Kettlebell certification, Precision Nutrition L1, Pain-free Performance Specialist and Crossfit: Level 1, Level 2, Gymnastics, Programming, Anatomy, Spot the Flaw.

My favorite moment is helping people accomplish movements they never thought possible and seeing their results & confidence sky rocket.

Kristen Graham-Coach

My name is Kristen and I’ve been coaching at 3 flames since March 2024. I currently reside in Caledonia with my husband Nathan and our dog, Bear. I grew up in Niagara Falls where I did competitive gymnastics until high school then switched to competitive volleyball. I went to Georgian college for pre health where I played volleyball for 1 year then moved back home to go to Niagara college for paramedicine. I am currently working as a full time paramedic for the County of Brant. I started doing CrossFit in 2021 and received my L1 certification in 2023. I have always loved watching members progress through their fitness journeys and see the positive impact it makes in and outside of the gym so being a coach I love being able to be a part of the members journey. It’s so fun watching people start to love the sport of CrossFit and make great memories along the way! 3 flames has an amazing and welcoming community which I’m proud to be apart of.

Daylon Gee-Coach

My name is Daylon Gee, I have grown up and lived in Hagersville pretty well my whole life. I am also part of the Oneida nation of the Six Nations and I have been working for my community since graduating university. I have always had a passion for working out from being in sports my whole life.  I have grown up playing Hockey, Football, Baseball and Golf. Most recently representing my community on the national level and playing for team indigenous Ontario in the Indigenous Challenge Cup vs team British Columbia. I really enjoy helping others reach their goals and helping youth in our community break the stigmas, while also reaching new levels within their sport.

Shauntelle Gulley-Coach + Administrative assistant

Shauntelle Gulley, most call me Gulley. I was born in Victoria BC but grew up in a military home and moved around as a kid. My favourite posting was Baden Baden Germany, I got to experience a lot of Europe in the two years I lived there. When I moved to Ontario we planted some roots in a small town just south of Collingwood. As a kid I loved to hike, bike ride, play hockey and of course sing.

As a young adult I struggled with my weight, and I never really knew how to approach the gym, I hired a personal trainer but I needed more of a community, and a lot more guidance in my nutrition.

Finding CrossFit helped me to achieve goals in the kind of atmosphere that made me feel like I was capable, and that gave me the passion to help others the way my community was able to help me.

I went to College and achieved a certificate for a Personal Support Worker, with the dream to one day become a nurse but through the pandemic learned i had a passion for coaching and teaching, I worked as a coach for Weight Watchers Canada, then completed an online Personal Training and Nutrition course through ISSA, recently adding a CrossFit Level 1 training certification, and plan to continue an education in nutrition.

I started coaching and training others because sometimes you need another person to remind you of what you are actually capable of.
